Location Guide

Senior Portraits:

DOWNTOWN KENOSHA

There are so many great photo opportunities all within walking distance throughout our cute little town! One of my favorite places to shoot downtown is the stairwell of the parking garage—the lighting is surprisingly perfect! I also love that it is directly across the street from an aesthetic alleyway with a vibey brick wall. Library Park is just down the street, and is especially gorgeous in the fall. Downtown Kenosha has so much to offer, and creates the perfect backdrop for a cool urban senior session!

PETRIFYING SPRINGS PARK

Petrifying Springs Park is the ideal location for those who love nature. It’s beauty attracts many, so it can be crowded at times, but there are plenty of beautiful areas throughout the park to choose from. The numerous bridges scattered along the river are some of it’s greatest gems, and paired with the dense foliage, this location offers the most charming storybook scenery. I especially love shooting here in the fall—nothing makes a statement like those beautifully bold autumn hues!

SIMMON’S ISLAND

How lucky are we that we have such easy access to an incredibly gorgeous beach? I will never get bored of photographing Lake Michigan! I love barefoot photos in the sand; I’m intrigued by finding new ways to shoot in the beach grass; and I’m inspired by the constantly changing water. There is something so special about including the most magical part of Kenosha in your photos!

KEMPER CENTER

If you love a classic look, and you want to incorporate beautiful architecture in your photos, the Kemper Center is the way to go. I can’t get enough of that archway and fountain! You truly get a little bit of everything with this location: architecture, foliage, and Lake Michigan. So if you can’t decide on just one element, you can get it all in one spot!
